About Dr. Feghali-Bostwick:
Carol Feghali-Bostwick, PhD, is the SmartState ® and Kitty Trask Endowed Chair and Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Feghali-Bostwick’s research interests focus on fibrosis encompassing disorders such as Systemic Sclerosis (SSc) and Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Her research includes the only study of twins with SSc, the identification of novel triggers of fibrosis, and the development of anti-fibrotic therapies. Dr. Feghali-Bostwick also serves as the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Scleroderma Foundation.
