Not specific to scleroderma, the panelists spoke of issues common to research and treatment of many autoimmune diseases, including Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Raynaud's and more. The panelists included treating and researching physicians, published authors, and the founder of the Raynaud's Association.

Part Two includes talks by Lynn Wunderman (Raynaud's Association, Founder and Chairman), Jessica Gordon, MD (Rheumatalogy), and a Question and Answer session with the full panel.

Lynn Wunderman - Raynaud’s Association Founder and Chairman
Lynn Wunderman is a seasoned Marketing Professional with over 30 years experience in direct marketing, database marketing, communications, consulting and general management. She has launched three successful companies, two continuing non-profit organizations, and counseled some of the largest advertisers in the industry. Her interests are in entrepreneurial ventures and non-profit endeavors.

Lynn is the Founder and Chairman of the Raynaud’s Association. Founded in 1992, the non-profit organization’s mission is to provide sharing, support, and educational services to the millions of Raynaud’s sufferers and to increase awareness of the disease among the general public and medical communities.

The Association has grown rapidly from a regional to a national organization and now serves members worldwide. The Raynaud’s Association has developed working relationships with leading researchers from the National Institutes of Health, the country’s top rheumatologists who serve on the organization’s Medical Advisory Board, and manufacturers actively investing in products to provide warmth and comfort to the Raynaud’s community

Jessica Gordon, M.D. Dr. Gordon is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She is currently a senior research fellow in rheumatology at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. She is also a clinician and a clinical/translational researcher at Hospital for Special Surgery where she serves as a co-investigator with Robert Spiera, M.D. in the safety and tolerability of Gleevec in patients with Systemic Sclerosis, Clinical Trial and in the Scleroderma Registry. She has presented results of her work at the American College of Rheumatology national meetings.

Dr. Gordon currently serves on the Scleroderma Foundation / Tri-State Chapter Medical Advisory Board
