About Dr. Rizk:
Dr. Rizk attended SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse where he obtained his doctorate degree. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Syracuse as well as a French Baccalaureate in Science from the College Stanislas, Paris, France. Dr. Rizk completed his residency in General Surgery at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. He performed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Physiology and Cell Biology at Albany Medical College with a NIH National Research Science Award for 2 years, followed by a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at SUNY Buffalo.

Dr. Rizk is now the Medical Director for the Unity Wound Care Center which offers a variety of treatments including: hyperbaric oxygen therapy, wound dressing and debridement and bio-engineered tissue substitutes. Dr. Rizk is also a vascular surgeon and Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery at Unity Hospital, part of Rochester Regional Health, in Rochester, NY
