Dr. Hsu completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at UMDNJ and Fellowship in the Rheumatology Division of UMDNJ.

In 1996 Dr. Hsu joined the faculty of Robert Wood Johnson and became Director of the RWJMS-Scleroderma Program in 2004, maintaining this site as an important referral center in the tri-state area, and one of the larger clinical programs on the East Coast.  She continues to run 5 clinics per week focused on scleroderma (SSc) and related connective tissue diseases, treating all complications that most community rheumatologists are reluctant to treat, including SSc-related pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, digital ulcer care and other difficult to treat musculoskeletal complications.

Keeping with the University’s mission, Dr. Hsu's goals include providing the best care for her patients with scleroderma while  she  continues to conduct cutting edge research directed towards bringing more effective treatment options for this rare and chronic disease to her patients.
